The team behind the game shares for the first time details of their personal journey, not always pleasant, of putting their body and soul to the creation of the game, a vision of the most human side of indie game development.
Details about the beginnings of the studio are revealed, the enormous difficulties of the first years, and how The Last Door marked the path they wanted to follow.
The story of the development of Blasphemous is told from its conception, up until the release of the game, including never seen before “homemade” footage within the studio. You will be able to experience some of the most intimate and rarely shown moments of video game development.

Se revelan algunos detalles inéditos sobre los inicios de nuestro estudio, las enormes dificultades de los primeros años, y como The Last Door marcó el camino a seguir.
El desarrollo de Blasphemous se narra desde sus inicios hasta la salida del juego, con metraje casero en primera persona grabado en el interior del estudio. Podrás vivir algunos de los momentos más Ãntimos y raramente mostrados del desarrollo de videojuegos.

Hasta me da un poco de pena que no sea gratuito, serÃa brutal que esto llegase a toda la gente posible – en particular a desarrolladores.
Si vas comenzando en el mundo del desarrollo o planeas empezar pronto, te recomiendo ampliamente este documental. Será un excelente abrir de ojos de cómo los juegos no se hacen gratis y te enseña de carne ajena que lo que puede salir mal – lo hará.
Y si ya eres experimentado y sabes que los juegos no se hacen gratis y siempre habrá algo mal, pues buenas noticias, porque también viene te muestra la importancia de buenas planeaciones, el peligro del feature creep, los problemas (y beneficios) que pueden surgir con eventos grandes, el lado humano de los trabajadores e incluso los riesgos y decisiones financieras que se deben de tomar.
En resumen, por el descuento a 3 euros está regalado, y a precio completo de 5 también. Pero tal vez esos 3 o 5 euros puede que sean una barrera muy alta para desarrolladores que van comenzando y no tienen nada – pero les vendrÃa brutal ver éste documental.
Muy buen trabajo, tanto en el juego como en ésta pequeña obrita de arte. Ojalá mas desarrolladores hicieran esto, porque sé que tanto yo como otros devs (e incluso fans) estamos más que felices por aventarles nuestro dinero a sus caras para aprender un poco más.

Me encanta que hayan hecho un documental tan personal y tan Ãntimo. Queda claro que han echado sangre, sudor y lágrimas por este juego, pero a la vista de todos está que no ha sido en vano y que han logrado una completa obra de arte.
Me dió mucha pena la parte de Carlos, el compositor, que la pasó tan mal. Si lee esto quiero decirle que es la mejor banda sonora que conozco de un videojuego, la escucho todo el tiempo en Spotify 😀

This documentary is not only interesting for people who played Blasphemous but for everyone interested in video games. It does not shy away from the ugly sides of the process and the struggles that come up during the development of an indie game.
The way the devs talk about their mistakes, their faults and their mental health is maybe the most powerful aspect of the documentary, which turns “Landing Blasphemous” into a very valuable piece of film.

A mi me hubiese gustado verlo, pero el código que viene en la versión fÃsica no funciona y aquà no hay ni una forma de contacto ni servicio de atención al cliente ni nada.
Vamos, lo que se dice pillar y la atención al cliente una puta mierda.
Por cierto, en una web que realice actividades económicas, por ejemplo esta, que tiene una tienda, tiene que figurar la empresa, su domicilio, sus datos fiscales, una forma de contacto y si procede su código de conducta (eso es para médico, etc.). Asà que nada, vosotros mismos.

Es un documental impresionante. Es increÃble lo mal que se llega a pasar viéndolo en los momentos duros, no me imagino lo que es estar ahÃ. Pero mi enhorabuena por sobreponerse a eso para sacar ese pedazo de juego (y de documental).

Es una realidad que, ni en los videojuegos, ni en ningún otra área laboral, sabe la gente externa realmente lo que cuestan las cosas hasta que tiene que llevarlas a cabo.
Soy empático totalmente a los esfuerzos del equipo, pues como diseñador industrial he vivido situaciones muy similares a las aquà mostradas. Me llena de alegrÃa haber podido ver éste documental porque, si antes ya valoraba y disfrutaba de el juego, ahora tiene para mà un sabor Ãntimo y personal. El documental me permitió conocer a sus creadores, y compartir su dolor.

The downoload includes .SRT file for english subtitles. You need to play the video using a player that supports subtitles from .SRT files, like Videolan.
