We’re looking for a talented and experienced pixel animator ready to be part of our team.
💡 A 2D pixel art animation portfolio is required in order to evaluate the application.
Skills & Requirements:
Strong pixel art portfolio focused on characters with a thorough understanding of anatomy, color theory, lighting, and perspective.
Portfolio showcasing production-quality pixel art animations created forshipped or commercially released games is highly valued.
A style that leans towards a more realistic pixel art aesthetic, moving away from the cartoon style.
At least five years of previous experience in the video game industry.
Proficient in Aseprite or Photoshop.
Extensive experience in traditional (frame-by-frame) animation applied to pixel art.
Mastering the basics of pixel art: color palettes, legibility, contrast, and silhouettes.
VFX and Particles: Ability to create visual effects (smoke, fire, magic) using pixel art.
Expertise in the creation and management of production-ready assets.
Nice to have:
Engine Integration: Previous experience implementing assets in Unity (animators, sprite sheet slicing, and pivot point positioning).
Understand what a shader is and how 2D materials work in order to collaborate with technical programmers.
Experience working with 2.5D or 3D using pixel art textures.

Type of contract:
Long term position. 40 hours/week contract.
From 39k euros gross annual salary, commensurate with experience.
We are based in Tenerife and Seville. For this role, we have a preference for candidates located in or able to work from our Seville office, though remote work is also available.
You might be required to attend up to 2 per-team and 2 company-wide team-building activities each year, travel and accommodation provided by the company.
