Hi friends, welcome

 to our news bulletin!

We want to welcome you to the first ever 'The Game Kitchen' newsletter, which is an evolution from our previous 'The Last Door'-only email to which you subscribed some time ago. Since the publication of the final Season of 'The Last Door', we've been working on new stuff, and since, we've become a multi-project studio. Keep reading if you want to know what we've been up to ;)

After working on the concept for some time, we're finally ready to unveil our next game!

Action and exploration  platformer, dark and brutal.

The Penitent One, armed with a fearsome sword and wearing a metal mask and armor, must traverse a disturbing hellscape where hordes of blasphemous enemies and huge bosses will try to take you down.

You will be able to explore a vast world, full of unforgettable and otherworldly places, imagined in a very peculiar gothic twist, full of mature themes and controversy.

All of this is being crafted by some of the greatest pixel-artists and animators out there, under the direction of our own Enrique Cabeza, the creative mastermind behind 'The Last Door'.

The project is still very early in development. Many things can still change, or go to places we are not yet able to foresee. For now, know that we're putting as much effort into 'Blasphemous' as we did with 'The Last Door' in order to create something really unique!

But don't take our word for it, visit our twitter account where you'll find illustrations, pixel settings and locations and animated characters. Let us know what you think of it!

We're considering launching a Kickstarter around May, and we are already working on a playable demo. As we did with 'The Last Door', we will be creating the game out in the open, and you will be able to participate in the development in a variety of ways!
